Curriculum Committee<\/strong>

\nPurpose: The Curriculum Committee provides an opportunity for residents interested in curriculum design to meet and brainstorm ways to implement improvements.<\/p>\n

Diversity & Inclusion Committee<\/strong><\/a>

\nFaculty Advisor: Sheila Chapman, Pablo Buitron de la Vega, Katie Modzelewski<\/span>
\nPurpose: The Diversity and Inclusion Committee’s mission is to increase diversity within our program, foster community and build curriculum focused on equity.<\/p>\n

LGBTQIA+ Committee

\nPurpose: The LGBTQIA+ Committee’s mission is to increase diversity within our program and foster community.<\/p>\n

Inpatient Operations Committee<\/strong>
\nResident Leader(s): Gervase Spurlin
\nFaculty Advisor: James Hudspeth, Miriam Nathan
\nPurpose: Provides review and input on operational changes and areas for improvement in the BMC inpatient setting.<\/p>\n

Research & Scholarship Committee<\/strong>
\nResident Leader(s): Omar El Fadel<\/span>
\nFaculty Advisor: Ashish Upadhyay
\nPurpose: Explores avenues to improve resident research and scholarship opportunities as well as aid residents in finding mentors and developing skills from project creation to publication.<\/p>\n

Wellness Committee<\/strong>
\nResident Leader(s): Heather Cozzie, Annika Divakar
\nPurpose: To foster resiliency in an environment that is enriched with personal and professional productivity through balance in physical health, mental wellbeing and social camaraderie in and out of the workplace.<\/p>\n

Women in Internal Medicine Committee<\/strong>
\nResident Leader(s): Mira Sridharan, Cholette Fiore<\/span>

\nPurpose: Women in Internal Medicine (WIIM) seeks to bring together female-identifying trainees to foster community, support the development of mentorship networks, and address the unique opportunities and challenges of being a woman in internal medicine.<\/p>\n

\nPurpose: The BMC Internal Medicine Residency Clinic Committee works to improve the resident clinic experience by helping build a sense of community among residents, disseminating updated workflows, and debriefing challenging situations.<\/p>\n

\nPurpose: The BMC Internal Medicine Residency Book Club is a resident-led group that brings together residents to foster community, connection, and thoughtful discussion through literature.
