We host New England\u2019s largest HIV\/AIDS program and one of Massachusetts\u2019 largest STD practices. Fellows will work under the direction of Dr. Karen Jacobson, and in collaboration with attendings, nurses, outreach workers, and translators. Fellows are encouraged to attend 6 sessions throughout their two years. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">HIV\/Hepatitis C Co-infection Clinic<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: Training in co-infection management with Hepatology and ID attendings, including participation in post-clinic case reviews.\u00a0Fellows are encouraged to attend 1-2 sessions.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmc.org\/departments\/infectious-diseases\/travel-clinic\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">BMC Travel Clinic<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: Fellows will receive training in travel medicine, as well as diagnosing and treating geographical disease through sessions in the International Health Clinic. As part of this experience, fellows will help care for one of the largest cohorts of Chagas Disease patients in the country through our affiliation with Strong Hearts, a community-based screening program developed at our affiliated East Boston Neighborhood Health Center<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmc.org\/immigrant-refugee-health-center\">Refugee and Immigrant Health:<\/a> <\/strong>Fellows may also choose to do rotations in the Immigrant and Refugee Health Program that provides health assessments for refugees.
