The symposium was greatly attended by students, post-doctoral associates, staff, and faculty. The GSI team thanks all of those who participated from those presenting in the Trainees\u2019 Lightning Talks, Faculty Talks, and the Poster Session.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Benedetta D&#8217;Elia (Ph.D. Candidate in the Fuxman Bass Lab)<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>in the Trainees\u2019 Lightning Talk portion and<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Mollie Adaline Brekker (Ph.D. Candidate in the Lyons Lab)<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>from the Poster Session in winning the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Grand Research Pilot Prizes.<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span><span>Each prize entails of a $10K award completely allocated for spending at one of the BUSM Cores or a $8K award for allocation towards genomic research reagents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Jillian Petrosky (Ph.D. Candidate in the Connor Lab)<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>in the Trainees\u2019 Lightning Talk portion and<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Elias Nafziger (Ph.D. Candidate in the Davey Lab)<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>from the Poster Session in winning the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Symposium Runner-Up Prize.<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span><span>Each prize entails of a $5K award completely allocated for spending at one of the BUSM Cores or a $4K award for allocation towards genomic research reagents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>All speakers who presented in the Trainees\u2019 Lightning Talks, and Faculty Talks will be receiving $100 honorariums for their selection.
