We have access from August 1991 to the latest issue of &#8216;Genomic Research.&#8217;\u00a0 Several labs at BU have published articles in the journal Genome Research, which is a cross-disciplinary high profile forum publishing studies that reflect aspects of the genetics and genomics fields in disease and medicine, neuroscience, microbiology, and human, animal, and plant biology.\u00a0 It has an annual average impact factor of 10.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; color: black;\">The GSI works with faculty, staff and trainees at BU to find and facilitate resources for the genetics and genomics research community.\u00a0 If you have other access requests for additional genetics and genomics journals and databases that would serve the BU research community, please get in touch with us at <a href=\"mailto:gsi@bu.edu\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">gsi@bu.edu<\/a> , and we will assist and provide support towards obtaining that resource as part of our center\u2019s initiatives.\u00a0 For example, the GSI has also worked with BU Alumni Medical Library to get an academic subscription to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buprimo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/permalink\/f\/1du03mk\/ALMA_BOSU151937799950001161\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">REPBASE database<\/a>, a key resource of genomic repetitive elements in biomedically relevant organisms.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BU Genome Science Institute would like to thank Young Joo Moon and Kate Flewelling of the Boston University Alumni Medical Library for helping our research community obtain a subscription to the premier genomics journal \u2018Genome Research (bu.edu)\u2019\u00a0 from the Cold Spring Harbor Labs Press. \u00a0This link https:\/\/genome-cshlp-org.ezproxy.bu.edu\/\u00a0 will take you to the subscription login.
