News to Know<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

BU Expects to Receive 24-25 FAFSA Starting Mid-March<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

FAFSA filers were recently notified by the Department of Education that 2024-2025 FAFSA data would be sent to schools starting in mid-March with submitted records being sent throughout March & April. You can check your FAFSA status on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>MyBU Student<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>as we expect to start receiving completed FAFSAs in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not sure if you\u2019ve filed already? Log in to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>studentaid.gov<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to check your account activity for completed applications.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Loan Exit Counseling Requirement<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Graduating Federal student loan borrowers are required to complete Federal Student Loan Exit Counseling. This can be done electronically at\u00a0<\/span><\/span>StudentAid.gov<\/a>. If you have questions\u00a0<\/span><\/span>join us virtually in April<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to talk loan repayment strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have institutional loans you will receive a separate email from SFS with steps to complete BU loan exit counseling.<\/span><\/p>\n
