They were two of eight junior faculty honored across BU.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_89983\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-89983\" style=\"width: 154px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/gms\/files\/2022\/10\/Daniel-Dempsey-144x150-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"150\" class=\"wp-image-89983 size-full\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-89983\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Daniel Dempsey, PhD<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Roussarie is an assistant professor in the Department of Anatomy &amp; Neurobiology, and Dempsey is an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology.<\/p>\n<p>The BU Provost&#8217;s Office awards these professorships to junior faculty nominated by the deans and colleagues as promising scholars in their respective fields.
