If you plan on using Federal Direct Unsubsidized and\/or Federal Graduate PLUS Loan funds during the 2022-2023 academic year (July 1, 2022 \u2013 June 30, 2023), you will need to complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA. While the priority deadline was February 1, 2022, we will continue to accept applications throughout the academic year.\u00a0GMS students must also complete the online\u00a0SFS Financial Aid Application<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Graduating Federal Direct\u00a0Loan\u00a0borrowers must complete\u00a0Federal Student Loan Exit\u00a0Counseling. Students can meet with realtors and property managers, explore different housing options, and off-campus housing experts will be available to answer questions. If you are enrolled in at least 6 credits for summer 1 and\/or summer 2 or certified full-time and you wish to apply for federal loans, make sure you\u2019ve submitted the\u00a0<\/span>2022-23 FAFSA<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Summer Direct Loan application.<\/a>\u00a0If you need additional funds, you can submit the\u00a0Summer Graduate PLUS Application<\/a>. Otherwise, private\u00a0credit-based student loans<\/a>\u00a0are also available.<\/span><\/p>\n Student Loan Relief Update<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n The Department of Education extension of the pandemic relief for federal student loan borrowers will end on August 31, 2022 (<\/span>Extension announced in April<\/a>). The student loan relief, which began in March 2020, includes temporary 0% interest rates, reprieve on loan payments, and paused collection of defaulted federal student loans.
