Please be sure to log in to the Student Link to put in your refund request before that date so that we can process your refund without delay. Once we have approved your refund, the request will be sent to Student Accounting Services to be released to you. You can expect the funds to post in your bank account within\u00a02-3\u00a0business days from the time that\u00a0Student Accounting releases the funds, depending on the processing time of your bank.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Or<\/strong><span><strong>al Health Sciences &amp; PA Class of 2023:<\/strong> January 3, 2022<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>All others:<\/strong> January 20, 2022<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Change in Enrollment for Spring 2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>Financial aid is awarded based on your enrollment plans listed on your financial aid application. If you have since changed the number of credits you are enrolled in for spring, you will need to contact our office at <\/span><span><a href=\"mailto:osfs-gms@bu.edu\" contenteditable=\"false\" title=\"mailto:osfs-gms@bu.edu\">osfs-gms@bu.edu<\/a><\/span><span> as adjustments to your cost of attendance and\/or financial aid award may be necessary.\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>When you add or drop classes online, it changes your enrollment status. Your tuition and fee charges are not automatically updated, nor is your financial aid. If you have made any changes to the number of credits you are enrolled in for spring, you will need to complete the following steps:<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\">\n<li class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>Contact the Registrar and request the tuition charges on your account be updated based on your change in enrollment. The Registrar may be reached at <\/span><span><a href=\"mailto:millie@bu.edu\" contenteditable=\"false\" title=\"mailto:millie@bu.edu\">millie@bu.edu<\/a><\/span><span><\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/li>\n<li class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>Contact the Student Financial Services office at <\/span><span><a href=\"mailto:osfs-gms@bu.edu\" contenteditable=\"false\" title=\"mailto:osfs-gms@bu.edu\">osfs-gms@bu.edu<\/a><\/span><span> and request our office to adjust your aid based on your change in enrollment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>Updating your account is especially important if you plan to receive a refund for living expenses at the start of the spring 2022 semester. If your account has not been updated based on your actual enrollment, it may delay your receipt of living expense funds by up to a week and may change the amount of your living expense funding.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Other SFS Reminders<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><b><span>Student Loan Exit Counseling<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/span><\/b><o:p><\/o:p><span>If you are graduating in January 2022 and have you received federal student loans, you are required to complete the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/exit-counseling\/\" contenteditable=\"false\" title=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/exit-counseling\/\"><span>Federal Student Loan Exit Counseling<\/span><\/a><span> before graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Free Financial Wellness Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><b><span>AccessLex\u202fWebinar \u2013\u00a0Road to Zero: A Strategic Approach to Student Loan Repayment<\/span><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span><span><br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/span><o:p><\/o:p><span>SFS will be hosting Ashley Norwood-Struppa\u00a0from AccessLex, a non-profit that\u202foffers free financial education programming and resources to help students and graduates manage their finances and loan repayment.\u202fAshley will be presenting in-person on December 7th\u202fat 4pm in Bakst Auditorium and she will hold a virtual version of the same session the following day, December 8th\u202falso at 4pm.
