Dear Colleagues,<\/div>\n
As we prepare for a new school year and some of you plan your return to campus after being away for some time, I\u2019d like to take this opportunity to share a few changes about transportation and commuting programs that will hopefully improve your commute.<\/span><\/p>\n
MBTA Passes<\/h5>\n

The 10th<\/sup> of each month is still the deadline for enrolling in, cancelling, or changing your participation in BU\u2019s 50% subsidized <\/span>MBTA Pass Benefit<\/a>. Those not currently enrolled who wish to get a July MBTA pass must be sure to sign up via <\/span><\/strong>BUworks<\/strong><\/a> by Thursday, June 10th<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One change: MBTA passes are now mailed<\/em> to your home address on file with the University \u2013 no need to pick them up! Also: please familiarize yourself with MBTA <\/span>service changes<\/a> and COVID-19 precautions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The BUS<\/h5>\n

Like so many things, riding the <\/span>BU Shuttle<\/a> is different at this time. Face masks are required, eating and drinking are prohibited, and there\u2019s a rigorous cleaning schedule.\u00a0Whenever possible, please consider walking or bicycling for short trips.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our new app<\/h5>\n

The old \u201cBUS app\u201d has been retired.\u00a0Next time you need to figure out whether it would be faster to take the BUS, wait for the T, walk, or bike, look no further than our new app \u2013 <\/span>Terrier Transit<\/a>, now available for iOS and<\/u> Android. You\u2019ll find real-time information from the BU Shuttle, the MBTA, Bluebikes, and Zipcar all in one place!<\/span><\/p>\n

Daily Parking Options<\/span><\/h5>\n

There are multiple daily options on the Medical Campus but price and availability vary.<\/p>\n
