Nearly 100 submissions, 45 artists<\/span><\/p>\n

S<\/span>tudents, faculty and staff are encouraged to view the 31st annual BUMC Gallery for the Arts<\/span>. <\/span>Art Days<\/span><\/a> <\/span>is an annual art exhibition started by BU President and BUSM Dean Emeritus Aram Chobanian to support the continued growth of creative arts at BUMC.\u00a0Now sponsored by the BUMC Provost\u2019s Office, it is mounted by the Creative Arts Society at BUSM.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Amid the political and social climate of the US throughout the past year there have been multiple instances where our nation has banded together to fight against the inequities that plague various groups within our nation. The theme of this 31st annual Art Days is Antiracism<\/i><\/strong>. Through various art forms the creative community at BUMC has demonstrated their resolve to oppose racial hatred, bias and the oppression of marginalized groups while promoting allyship, continued education and discourse. Works related to this theme are highlighted. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In past years, the exhibition was displayed in Hiebert Lounge; however, this year the exhibition has been made accessible <\/span>online<\/span><\/a> <\/span>through Feb. 28.<\/span><\/p>\n
