 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The BUMC Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry Drive is a collaborative effort with the Boston University Schools of Dental Medicine (SASDA, HSDA, ASDA), Medicine (SCOMSA), Public Health and the\u00a0Graduate Medical Sciences Program (GMSSO).\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>Gift of Life helps children and adults suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, other cancers and genetic disorders find donors for bone marrow transplants.\u00a0 If you are between the ages of 18 and 45 and in general good health, you are eligible to be screened and join the worldwide registry for patients in need.\u00a0 The need for donors of South Asian, Asian, Hispanic, African-American and multi-racial backgrounds is urgent!<\/p>\n

You can help three (3)\u00a0ways.<\/strong>\u00a0 Last year we swabbed and registered 75 people and one was a match for a 58 year old person in need!\u00a0 With your help, we can surpass that number this year!<\/p>\n

  1. a) <\/span>Volunteer to staff the<\/strong> BUMC Gift of Life event <\/strong>on April 4, 2019, 11:00am to 3:00pm<\/strong> at the School of Medicine (L Building Lobby and L-107).\u00a0\u00a0 Use this link to volunteer:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
