Ally List<\/a> is a public listing of clinicians, faculty, and practitioners, researchers, staff, students, and trainees across BUMC and BMC who identify as LGBTQ+ or as allies for the LGBTQ+ community.\u00a0For more information about this initiative, or to join the list,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/outandally.bumc.bu.edu\/\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our list of<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/2021\/06\/01\/pride-month-recommended-reads\/\">LGBTQ+ books<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>offers recommended reading both during Pride month, and every month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/busm\/student-affairs\/student-life\/student-life-student-life-advocacy-groups\/bumc-pride\/\">BUMC Pride<\/a><span> aims to<\/span> provide a safe, supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff.\u00a0 The group educates future and current health professionals on the social issues and health concerns of the LGBTQIA+ community in order to break down prejudices and misconceptions that can undermine patient care and personal growth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/ostem\/\">oSTEM@BU<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>is a collegiate chapter of the national organization,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ostem.org\/\">oSTEM Inc<\/a>. oSTEM@BU empowers LGBTQIA graduate students in STEM to succeed\u00a0<em>personally<\/em>,\u00a0<em>academically<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>professionally<\/em>\u00a0by cultivating environments and communities that nurture\u00a0<em>innovation<\/em>,\u00a0<em>leadership<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>advocacy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tag\/lgbtq\/\">LGBTQ+ News<\/a><strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>in BU Today<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>LGBTQ+ Employees<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Boston University recently kick-started an initiative to create a faculty\/staff network for LGBTQIA+ staff and faculty.
