Both program options included<span>\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0set of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hpe\/curriculum\/required-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">core classes<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>(7 \u00a0for MS and 5 for Certificate) and<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hpe\/curriculum\/elective-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">electives<\/a>. The electives and individualized practicum completed under a faculty mentor allow students to gain experience in their chosen discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Students have the option of taking courses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hpe\/curriculum\/sample-path\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">part-time or full-time<\/a>. <strong>Courses are offered on-line and in-person <\/strong>to allow flexibility in your unique student experience. Courses are held later in the day\/evening to accommodate variable schedules of clinicians.<\/p>\n<h3>Master&#8217;s Degree Program<\/h3>\n<p>Students pursuing the Masters \u00a0must complete 32 credits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>complete all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hpe\/curriculum\/required-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">9 required courses<\/a> to earn 24 credits<\/li>\n<li>choose from a wide variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hpe\/curriculum\/elective-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">elective courses<\/a> to complete the 32-credit graduate degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Certificate Program<\/h3>\n<p>Students pursuing the Certificate must complete 16 credits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>complete <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hpe\/curriculum\/required-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">required courses<\/a> 1-5 and choose between courses 6 or 7 to earn 16 credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Required Courses<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p><span>1.\u00a0<\/span><span>SED CT 721:\u00a0<\/span><span>Analysis and Design of Curriculum 4 credits<\/span><br \/>\n<span>2.
