The letter should indicate that:\n<ul>\n<li>They endorse your enrollment in HPE courses (masters or certificate program)<\/li>\n<li>You have completed the probationary period as dictated by your position<\/li>\n<li>You meet the BUMC discount criteria as a faculty or staff member<\/li>\n<li>Are eligible to enroll in the masters or certificate program.<\/li>\n<li>This letter shmailto:jmarkuns@bu.eduould be on letterhead with signature and sent to Dr. Jeff Markuns (<span style=\"color: #0066cc;\"><a href=\"mailto:hpeinfo@bu.edu\" style=\"color: #0066cc;\">hpeinfo@bu.edu<\/a><\/span>) upon completion of registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Eligibility\n<ul>\n<li>An employee must be working 30&gt; hours per week and have completed their probationary period set by BU (90 or 120 days, depending on their position)<\/li>\n<li>The benefit of 50% tuition discount\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">cannot be combined with any other BU scholarship<\/span><span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0<\/span>unless approved by the Associate Dean and can be only used towards GMS graduate-level coursework. The non-degree application is for an individual with an accredited bachelor\u2019s degree or its international equivalent who do not wish to enter a degree program but wish to take a course(s). Except under unusual circumstances, non-degree students may transfer no more than 8 credits for a master\u2019s degree program or 16 credits for a PhD degree program.
