Welcome to the Forensic and Bioanthropology Laboratory (FAB Lab)<\/strong> Group’s<\/strong> website! The FAB Lab Group<\/strong> is comprised of a BU Graduate Medical Sciences faculty member\/biological and forensic anthropologist (Dr. Sean Tallman)<\/strong>, graduate students, and advanced undergraduates who are broadly interested in forensic and biological anthropology research areas. As such, our research and scholarship includes but is not limited to: human variation; human skeletal biology and population history; biological profile method development and refinement; human identification; diversity, equity, and inclusion in biological\/forensic anthropology; skeletal health and disease; and bioarchaeology. * Congratulations to FAB Lab-ers Faith Flanders<\/strong> and Emma Roach <\/strong>(along with other BU forensic anthropology students, Rebecca Arden and Kirsten Williams) for winning Pollitzer Student Travel Grants<\/a> through the American Association of Biological Anthropologists (AABA) to attend the annual meeting of the AABA in March in Denver, CO!<\/p>\n

* Dr. Tallman<\/strong> was recently featured on The Bone Club podcast to talk about the state and importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in forensic anthropology and can be accessed here<\/a><\/p>\n

* Welcome to new FAB Lab-ers Kaitlyn Bowling<\/strong>, Madison Butler<\/strong>, Faith Flanders<\/strong>, Jessie Flynn<\/strong>, Callum Goodson<\/strong>, Yuri Matsuoka<\/strong>, and Emma Roach<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

* Dr. Tallman<\/strong> published an article in Sapiens<\/a> on the important roles of advocacy and activism in forensic anthropology with two Program in Forensic Anthropology alumni, Ashley Smith and Donovan Adams!<\/p>\n
