This article is published as a result of his work through an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/2024-faculty-grant-award-recipients\/\">AI and Education Initiative 2024 Grant<\/a> he was awarded by Boston University. This grant program provides funding to support research led by faculty on AI and education, with the ultimate mission to progress BU&#8217;s research and funding in these fields. A man of many hats and talents, he has served as Assistant Dean of Graduate Medical Sciences, Chair of the Boston University faculty, Chair of the American Mental Health Counseling <\/span><span>Associations Professional Development Committee and Chair of the American Psychological Association\u2019s Counsel on Psychology and AIDS<\/span><span>. We hope to celebrate together soon!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jori Berger-Greenstein, PhD<\/strong> completes a world-renowned and highly selective <a href=\"https:\/\/bioethics.hms.harvard.edu\/education\/fellowship-bioethics\">Fellowship in Bioethics<\/a> at <em>Harvard University School of Medicine<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_81172\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-81172\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/gms\/files\/2021\/09\/Harvard-2-e1631223844833.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"193\" class=\" wp-image-81172\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-81172\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dr. Berger-Greenstein, Director of MHCBM Curriculum, Clinical Associate Professor, and Harvard Medical School Bioethics Fellow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Bioethics Fellowship is a one-year, part-time academic certificate program designed for those with a serious interest in bioethics and who wish to further their knowledge of the history, philosophical underpinnings, and contemporary practice of bioethics. The elite group of Fellows represents a range of disciplines, including medicine, nursing, law, social work, and other academic fields. \u00a0Course instructors are Harvard faculty and others who are world-renowned experts in their respective fields.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Berger-Greenstein applied for the Fellowship prior to the current pandemic, having no idea<em>\u00a0<\/em>at the time that she\u2019ll be learning in the midst of a global pandemic.
