Professor Waldo<\/strong> has published an article titled “Aligning Pedagogy with Purpose: Preparing Students <\/span>for Ethical AI Engagement in Behavioral Health”. This article is published as a result of his work through an AI and Education Initiative 2024 Grant<\/a> he was awarded by Boston University. This grant program provides funding to support research led by faculty on AI and education, with the ultimate mission to progress BU’s research and funding in these fields. Professor Waldo’s article can be accessed here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have a new book author on the core faculty<\/h4>\n

Dr. Navalta\u00a0<\/strong>has published a treatment manual for mental health counselors and other behavioral healthcare providers,\u00a0Trauma-Informed Parenting Program: TIPs<\/sup> for Clinicians to Train Parents of Children Impacted by Trauma and Adversity<\/em>.\u00a0 As described in the book’s Foreword written by Dr. Ernestine Briggs-King (Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Duke University School of Medicine), “Dr. Navalta\u2019s book has the potential to assist clinicians in their quest to help youth and their families live meaningful lives that are free of trauma-related symptoms and distress.”\u00a0 The manual is available through Wiley<\/a> and other book sellers.\u00a0 Congratulations, Dr. Navalta!<\/p>\n
