Griffith is an Assistant Professor of Counseling. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Old Dominion University (ODU) and her M.A. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, and play therapy from the University of Central Florida<\/span>(UCF). Dr. Griffith worked on two federally funded multi-million-dollar research grants at the UCF\u2019s Marriage and Family Research Institute and is currently a Research Fellow of The Consortium for Family Strengthening Research, an interdisciplinary, multi-university research team.<\/p>\n<p>To date, Dr. Griffith has 11 refereed journal articles, 26 refereed presentations at the international, national, and\/or regional level, and has independently conducted 12 non-refereed presentations and workshops. Dr. Griffith is also a lead facilitator of couple and relationship education (CRE) curricula, including the Becoming Parents Program (BPP) and the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP). She has taught undergraduate Human Services courses, masters level counseling courses, and doctoral level courses in counseling and counselor education and supervision.
