{"id":54608,"date":"2017-11-29T11:49:40","date_gmt":"2017-11-29T16:49:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/?page_id=54608"},"modified":"2019-01-10T15:38:56","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T20:38:56","slug":"graduate-outcomes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/behavioral-neuroscience\/graduate-outcomes\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Outcomes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>The intended outcomes\u00a0of the Behavioral Neuroscience PhD Program are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> to provide\u00a0students with a firm foundation in basic principles and methods of Experimental Neuropsychology<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>to prepare students for\u00a0embarking on a career as an experimental neuropsychologist and behavioral neuroscientist in academia or industry<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Today, students, faculty, and researchers affiliated with the Behavioral Neuroscience program continue to research clinical conditions associated with\u00a0<span>neurological <\/span>disorders<span> such as <\/span>Alzheimer\u2019s disease, traumatic brain injury, stroke, alcoholism, PTSD<span>, neurotoxicant exposures<\/span> and Gulf War Illness.
