Deadline May 17, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\nThe MS in Oral Health Sciences Program is a 32 credit master\u2019s program that provides students with the opportunity to take both Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and graduate level coursework while improving their academic preparedness for dental school admission.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\nHow To Apply<\/h3>\nAll applicants are required to submit an application, 3 letters of recommendation, unofficial transcript, DAT scores and resume.<\/p>\nAcademic requirements include:<\/h4>\n\nPossession of a baccalaureate degree from a US or Canadian institution.<\/li>\nTwo completed semesters of the following courses: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, including lab.\n\nIt is strongly suggested that additional upper level Biology courses (such as systems physiology and biochemistry) be completed prior to beginning the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\nSubmission of results of the\u00a0Dental Admission Test<\/a><\/span><\/li>\nThe minimum admissions requirements are an undergraduate GPA of 2.9 with an DAT academic average score of 17 (370\u00a0 new). Most students complete the program in 12 months<\/a><\/span>\u00a0by submitting a Capstone project, while\u00a0two-year students can\u00a0complete a research-based thesis on a topic of their choice in the field of dentistry. In addition to its academic rigor, the program also offers its students the flexibility to decide whether they wish to graduate in 12 or 24 months. Most students complete the program in 12 months<\/a><\/span>\u00a0by submitting a Capstone project, while\u00a0two-year students can\u00a0complete a research-based thesis on a topic of their choice in the field of dentistry.
