We are excited to welcome both the GMS graduates and their guests to Commencement 2020. You do not need tickets for the ceremony, however, please let us know an estimated number in the commencement form which graduates received.   

MA/MS Commencement Ceremony – 10 am May 14th

PhD/MD Commencement Ceremony – 3 pm May 14th

Lodging

On-Campus Housing

• BU students and guests have the option of staying at Warren Towers on the Charles River campus. Please note Warren Towers is only available starting the night of Thursday May 14th. Full information and booking can be found here.

Off-Campus Housing

• The greater Boston area offers myriad accommodation from quaint neighborhood B&Bs to luxurious hotels along Boston’s waterfront and everything in between to meet your particular lodging needs. But remember, because BU’s Commencement Weekend is the same as many other area colleges and universities, hotels fill quickly so reserve your rooms as early as possible.

International Guests

• Guests who will be traveling from abroad may contact ISSO to generate a letter of invitation for U.S. visitor’s visa application, which can be used by family members of a BU student or scholar.

Disability Services

• In early April, Disability Services will accept submissions to request accessible parking, seating, and individual services. If you need additional assistance, contact Disability Services at 617-353-3658.
