Personal Facts/Hobbies: I lived in Indiana my whole life until moving to Boston for graduate school and it’s been a super exciting and rewarding experience so far! I am a proud first-generation scholar with many goals and ambitions, some of my professional goals include pursuing medical school to become the first doctor in my family and continuing to enjoy everything life has to offer along the way! I also hope to continue my involvement in research as it has become an important part of my educational journey. I am currently an advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association Impact Movement and plan on pursuing/conducting research to help the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease! Having had the opportunity to meet a lot of friends and mentors along the way, I am always happy to share my learned experiences and learn from others!
Some fun facts about me: I was a camp counselor for four years for kindergarten through second graders so I love working with children, working out and lifting are my go-to destressors in life, I love being outside and enjoying the sunshine when I can, and food is the way to my heart (tacos and pasta are probably my favorites)!!!
