Personal Facts/Hobbies:

I started my career at BU in the MAMS program to better prepare myself for medical school. I entered the dual MD/PhD program because I am passionate about delivering patient care and also researching clinical questions at the bench. My PhD work focused on Neuroinflammation in aging and cognitive decline and I am currently applying into neurology residency programs. I am a co-founder of the Brain Enrichment Program and the Wellness Initiative at BUSM. On a more personal level, I met my husband and got married during graduate school and we are expecting our first child— so I am happy to discuss family and work-life balance in addition to the stressors that come with graduate school. Looking forward to connecting with other first-gen students!
