Personal Facts/Hobbies:

I am the second oldest of 5 kids, I am the only one in my family to pursue a career in the biological/ medical field. I am specifically interested in pursuing a career as an OB/GYN. My hobbies include, reading, playing tennis and yoga, and I love baking, especially trying out every new vegan recipe I come across (I have been vegan for almost 4 years now). I have lived in Rhode Island my entire life when you are a part of a big family like mine it is kind of hard to move away. Fun fact, Rhode Island is the smallest state in the United States and very often gets confused for Long Island or people think we’re apart of New York. One of my goals in life is to be able to travel to every place on my bucket list and find new delicious vegan restaurants along the way!

As the only person in my family pursuing a career in the medical field, I have not had anyone to guide me in this career path. I never really felt like I had someone to help me or offer me advice outside of my family. I am grateful for the BU community, because it introduced me to faculty and students just like me, that had gone through similar struggles and were here to offer me advice. It would bring me much joy to have the opportunity to help someone in their path in the same way I was by this community.
