“I wanted to\u00a0share this with you. I used\u00a0Doximity\u00a0Dialer to call my patients from home. It is a free mobile tool for clinicians. It is nice because when you call the patients, they actually see the BMC clinic office number instead of a blocked number or your personal number. A lot of our patients don’t answer the phone when you block the caller ID. It is very easy to install and you actually need to have a medical license to use it.”<\/p>\n

How to dial with Doximity via Epic Haiku, from David Yuh:<\/div>\n

“As an additional quick plug. You can connect this with EPIC Haiku so that when you press on the phone number from EPIC Haiku, it’ll utilize Doximity Dialer (you have to go and change the settings for this to occur). I’ve found this feature helpful when on-call, so I don’t have to memorize the phone number from EPIC and go to a separate app to dial.”\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To connect EPIC Haiku to Doximity for calls (on an iPhone – Sorry not sure how this happens on an Android).<\/p>\n

  1. Go to Settings<\/li>\n
  2. Scroll down to Haiku<\/li>\n
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen, where you’ll see “Place Calls Using”. Click this.<\/li>\n
  4. Change from “Phone” to “Doximity” and go back.<\/li>\n
  5. You should now be able to click on a phone number\u00a0in EPIC Haiku and automatically use Doximity Dialer to call them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
