The aims include the implementation of an ion-gating scheme to improve the performance of TIMS by extending its\u00a0<em>m\/z<\/em> operating range and reducing ion heating during mobility analysis, and the application of the TIMS-ExD method for detailed structural characterization of glycans, including isomers.
