James, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, has been appointed Vice President of Mission and Associate Chief Medical Officer of Boston Medical Center! <a href=\"\/emergencymedicine\/files\/2015\/08\/1263d3de-510b-40e5-930e-4847a662fc5e.jpeg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dr. James will now manage Boston Medical Center&#8217;s partnerships with numerous community agencies, housing advocates, food agencies, community mental health providers, substance abuse programs, and violence prevention programs. <a href=\"\/emergencymedicine\/files\/2014\/07\/1263d3de-510b-40e5-930e-4847a662fc5e.jpeg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ravin Davidoff, Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, cited Dr. James&#8217; &#8220;innate ability to truly connect with our patients&#8221; and her\u00a0&#8220;passion and dedication&#8221; as reasons why she was chosen for the position.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud of Dr. James&#8217; many accomplishments and leadership positions.
