Thank you for visiting the home of the BMC Emergency Medicine Residency Program.<\/p>\n<h3>Before You Apply<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have an active <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmc.org\/medical-professionals\/minority-physician-program\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">minority recruitment<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> office and prioritize <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">diversity<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> among residents, faculty, and staff. We also offer a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmc.org\/medical-professionals\/minority-physician-program\/visiting-medical-students\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subsidized Visiting Elective Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for medical students from ethnicities that are underrepresented in medicine. Our match number is 1257110C0. Applications are submitted through <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aamc.org\/students\/medstudents\/eras\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ERAS<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Our program ID number is 1102421084.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BMC honors the NRMP guidelines concerning application <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cordem.org\/globalassets\/files\/2022-2023-cord-apic-recommendations.pdf?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">deadlines.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Interview invitations are distributed in coordination with our peer programs in the CORD &#8220;County Program Community of Practice.&#8221; Interviews will be scheduled through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thalamusgme.com\">Thalamus<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and you may receive an invite at any time during the season.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>For Applicants<\/h3>\n<p>We utilize a holistic application review and evaluate all elements of an applicant&#8217;s file including experiences, attributes, and professional aspirations. Our program values candidates who share our commitment to mission, growth mindset, resilience, and a team-based approach to clinical care.
