As Director of the CRRO, Mary-Tara is responsible for defining the office\u2019s services and overseeing the implementation of those services to support clinical researchers at BMC\/BU Medical Campus. In addition, she works at providing services to investigators and study teams, especially in the areas of regulatory consultation and training for all levels of the research team. Mary-Tara has a BS in Psychology from Tufts, a BS in Nursing from Johns Hopkins, and a Master\u2019s in Nursing and a Master\u2019s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins.<\/p>\n

Hallie Altwies<\/strong>
\nHuman Research Education & Quality Assurance Coordinator\"\"<\/strong>

As Human Research Education and Quality Assurance Coordinator, Hallie is responsible for supporting research consultations, education initiatives, QA reviews, and REDCap projects. Hallie previously worked as a clinical research coordinator in rheumatology and trauma departments for 3 years after graduating from Union College in 2021.<\/p>\n

Stephanie Warth<\/strong>

As the\u00a0Human Research Education Manager, Stephanie is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing educational and training programs that promote compliance and ethical conduct in human subjects research at BMC\/BU Medical Campus. She is a resource for all clinical research professionals by providing comprehensive and up-to-date education on regulatory requirements, institutional policies, best practices, and emerging trends in research. She also co-leads the multi-institutional Research Professionals Network, focusing on workforce development and peer-led education for clinical research professionals.<\/p>\n
