The RPN Awards is an annual recognition event to honor and recognize research support staff for their hard work and dedication to research on campus. The RPN Awards is hosted by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and all RPN members are invited.

Award Categories<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Each year, two awards are given to outstanding RPN members for their contributions to the research community:<\/p>\n

Rising Star Award<\/strong><\/p>\n

The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated initiative, motivation, enthusiasm,\u00a0professionalism, and attention to detail in the pursuit of their responsibilities. This person should have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills that are likely to lead to a successful career within and beyond the BMC\/BU Medical Campus clinical research community.<\/p>\n

All Star Award<\/strong><\/p>\n

The All Star Award recognizes a clinical research professional who, during their career at BMC\/BU Medical Campus, has made consistently superior contributions of outstanding significance to the field of clinical research at the institution.\u00a0 This person will have demonstrated tremendous experience in the clinical, regulatory, and\/or financial aspects of the clinical research profession, and has contributed to training the next generation of clinical research professionals. This award recognizes that the scope of clinical research is diverse and encourages the input of a wide variety of individuals that the awardee has worked with.<\/p>\n

Nominations
\n<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Nominations can be made by any staff member of the BMC\/BU Medical Campus research community, including Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, Study Coordinators, Research Administrators, Research Assistants, research teams, and Department\/Division\/Section staff. The RPN Award Selection Committee reviews all nomination forms to make the final determination of award recipients. The Award Selection Committee is comprised of RPN members, and representatives from the CTSI, OHRA, and CRRO.<\/p>\n

The 2019 award recipients will be announced at the RPN Awards on September 25th.\u00a0All nominations must be submitted by August 31, 2019<\/strong> to be considered for an award.<\/span><\/p>\n
