BMC\u2019s study is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nih.gov\/research-training\/medical-research-initiatives\/heal-initiative\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NIH HEAL (Helping to End Addiction Long-term) Initiative<\/a>, a bold, trans-agency effort to speed scientific solutions to stem the national opioid crisis.<\/p>\n<p>The CARE Unit faculty, clinical services, and education and training programs\u00a0are key components of the Grayken Center for Addiction.
