harm reduction training over two years to 5 addiction subspecialty physicians <\/strong>interested in addiction research, selected annually.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2) To augment institutional mentoring of addiction subspecialty physicians on research projects and career trajectories <\/strong>by nationally recognized researchers (RAMS National Advisory Committee [NAC]) over a 2-year period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) To facilitate the development of a robust research training infrastructure as part of an Addiction Medicine\u00a0or Addiction Psychiatry\u00a0fellowship <\/strong>by providing training to RAM Scholars\u2019 institutional mentors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4) To provide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/care\/leadership-development-training-2022-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">leadership training<\/span><\/a> for addiction subspecialty physicians<\/strong> that will be woven into the existing 2-year curriculum by combining didactic sessions with experiential learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5) To build a network of physicians trained in Addiction Medicine <\/strong><strong>research<\/strong> by establishing a RAMS alumni network and providing guidance on\u00a0research career development grant award applications (e.g., NIDA K awards).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14156\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14156\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/care\/files\/2024\/07\/RAMS-Dinner-636x336.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"264\" class=\"wp-image-14156\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/care\/files\/2024\/07\/RAMS-Dinner-636x336.jpeg 636w, https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/care\/files\/2024\/07\/RAMS-Dinner-1024x540.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/care\/files\/2024\/07\/RAMS-Dinner-768x405.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/care\/files\/2024\/07\/RAMS-Dinner-1536x811.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/care\/files\/2024\/07\/RAMS-Dinner-2048x1081.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14156\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">RAMS Participants, Faculty, Staff &amp;
