He was a postdoctoral fellow who completed his training in the CARE Unit in 2013. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol (Badalona) in Spain.\u00a0 His research interests are medical consequences of substance abuse, mainly HCV and HIV infection, as well as alcohol abuse.
