We accept two (2) applicants every year for this one-year ACGME-certified program.<\/p>\n<p>The Boston University Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program provides comprehensive training in the subspecialty of Interventional Cardiology. Trainees develop the procedural skills, cognitive clinical knowledge, judgement, and professionalism required to excel in this field. The program ensures that fellows gain experience in peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as structural heart interventions.<\/p>\n<p>To enhance training, fellows participate in a rotation in South Shore Hospital, a local community hospital, which offers exposure to the practice of Interventional Cardiology in a non-referral, community-based setting. Under supervision, fellows evaluate, manage, and provide interventional treatment for a wide variety of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
