We accept two (2) fellows every other year for this two-year ACGME-certified program.<\/p>\n<p>The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship aims to develop the next generation of leaders in the field by providing comprehensive training in clinical care, procedural expertise, and academic excellence. The program is designed to cultivate expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cardiac arrhythmias, with a focus on both non-invasive and advanced interventional techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Fellows will gain hands-on experience in diagnostic electrophysiology studies, catheter ablation (radiofrequency and cryoablation), and then implantation and management of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, and implantable loop recorders. Advanced procedural training includes laser lead extraction, leadless pacemaker implantation, His bundle pacing, and Watchman device implantation.<\/p>\n<p>Through a combination of structured clinical rotations, participation in an ongoing arrhythmia clinical spanning the entire year, and research opportunities, fellows will cultivate advanced technical skills, critical thinking, and academic inquiry.
