\"Dr.The Faculty Affairs Office is pleased to announce that Allison Larson is August\u2019s Distinguished Faculty of the Month.<\/p>\n

An Associate Professor of Dermatology, Larson sees general dermatology patients and holds a monthly gynecologic dermatology clinic at Boston Medical Center. Her primary focus is medical education. She serves as Residency Program Director and Vice Chair for Education and previously co-directed the Dermatology Disease and Therapeutics Module for six years.<\/p>\n

Larson received her bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s, and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. \u00a0She completed a residency in dermatology and fellowship in dermatopathology at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital respectively).<\/p>\n

The nomination states, \u201cDr Larson <\/em><\/strong>has made a substantial impact on our department and residency program, which goes beyond the expectations for a new program director.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
