B. Ajayi, MBBS, MPH has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for December.<\/p>\n<p>A member of the BUSM community since September 2017, Dr. Ajayi is Assistant Director of Training &amp; Education in the Department of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Her nominators say, \u201cTinuola always makes an effort to go the extra mile to ensure everything goes well, even if it means taking on duties that aren&#8217;t technically listed under her job&#8217;s roles. While participating in the AHA SURE Program this summer, she did her best to make sure each student in the program had the best experience they could. Because of COVID-19, the program took a few unexpected turns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile many other programs were canceled, Tinuola, along with others, made sure we had an awesome virtual experience. During the entire program, she expressed concern not only about our academic performance, but also our mental health.
