In a broad range of subject areas including microbiology, cardiology, pulmonology, computational medicine, neurology, infectious diseases, general internal medicine, anatomy & neurobiology, genetics and pharmacology, 14 BUSM and BMC principal investigators \u2013 including three assistant professors \u2013 garnered more than $2.5M in funding spent for research projects in calendar year 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very proud of our faculty who attract substantial federal, state and industry funding for their outstanding research at the medical school and hospital\u201d, said BUSM Dean Karen Antman, MD.<\/p>\n
