{"id":76612,"date":"2019-11-12T07:55:27","date_gmt":"2019-11-12T12:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/busm\/?p=76612"},"modified":"2019-11-14T14:28:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-14T19:28:00","slug":"aoa-scholarship-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2019\/11\/12\/aoa-scholarship-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"A\u2126A Scholarship Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The opportunity<\/strong>:\u00a0Financial support for research to be conducted either during a continual period of a\u00a0<strong>minimum of 8 to 10 weeks<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>30 hours or more per week; or an average of 4 hours per week for 12 months over a period of 1 to 2 years<\/strong>, for clinical investigation, basic laboratory research, epidemiology, social science\/health services research, leadership, or professionalism<\/p>\n<p><strong>The award<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>$6,000<\/strong>\u00a0($2,500 will be paid on announcement of the award, and $2,500 will be paid after receipt and approval of the final research report). In addition, each student will be reimbursed a maximum of\u00a0<strong>$1,000<\/strong>\u00a0to cover travel expenses related to the presentation of his\/her Fellowship research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:\u00a0First, second, and third year students from BUSM.
