Members of the class received their stethoscopes on Tuesday, Oct. 30, compliments of alumni of the School of Medicine who donated to fund the purchase of these vital instruments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very aware of the high cost of attending medical school and providing stethoscopes is one more step in easing the financial burden on our students,\u201d explained Jean Ramsey, MD, Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs.  \u201cThis is another example of the generosity of our alumni.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Each stethoscope came with a note from the BUSM Alumni Association and the name of the alumnus or alumna who made the contribution. Each student in turn wrote a thank you message to the graduate who made the gift possible.
