At the three-day session, which was held in New Jersey during October, the newest Research Advocates took part in rigorous sessions on the science of Parkinson\u2019s and the process that brings new treatments to market. They learned how to influence research and speed the development of new and effective treatments for Parkinson\u2019s.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1867\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1867\" style=\"width: 110px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"\/camed\/files\/2011\/11\/james-ray.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1867\" title=\"james ray\" src=\"\/camed\/files\/2011\/11\/james-ray.jpg\" alt=\"Raymond James\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1867\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Raymond James<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mr. James has been a part of the Parkinson\u2019s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at BUSM since 2005 and is also a member of the Parkinson\u2019s Study Group, an organization focused on implementing clinical trials in Parkinson\u2019s. He has used his expertise in clinical research to advise and implement trainings that prepare people with Parkinson\u2019s and care partners to join the network and be a voice in their community.
