She served as senior assistant registrar for scheduling and training from 2012-15; associate registrar for classroom management from 2015-18; senior associate registrar for curriculum, policy and academic space from 2018-22; and most recently as consulting registrar.<\/p>\n<p>She brings a deep knowledge of University systems, policies and business process, and is highly collaborative and dedicated to student-centric service.<\/p>\n<p>Liza received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from University of North Carolina at Asheville, and a master of science in neuroscience from King\u2019s College London, Institute of Psychiatry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited to learn that\u00a0Liza Burke Bates has accepted the position of assistant dean and registrar in the School of Medicine,\u201d said Ellen DiFiore, our recently retired assistant dean and registrar. \u201cShe will bring her extensive knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to the position.
