If anything, he thinks it underrepresents the number of artists on the medical campus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe medical field, the health field, they have this other side, this creative side, in abundance,\u201d he said. In its 33<sup>rd<\/sup> year, Art Days is a two-day celebration and Tornheim estimated more than 100 artworks created by approximately Medical Campus 50 students, faculty and staff were on display in Hiebert Lounge Feb. 21-22.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_111465\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-111465\" style=\"width: 306px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/camed\/files\/2023\/02\/Noah-Siegel-M2-crop-by-David-576x636.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of Art Days installation by Noah Siegelby \" width=\"296\" height=\"327\" class=\" wp-image-111465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/files\/2023\/02\/Noah-Siegel-M2-crop-by-David-576x636.jpg 576w, https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/files\/2023\/02\/Noah-Siegel-M2-crop-by-David-768x848.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/files\/2023\/02\/Noah-Siegel-M2-crop-by-David.jpg 924w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 296px) 100vw, 296px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-111465\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Second-year medical student Noah Siegel&#8217;s &#8220;Exacerbation of Chronic Illness&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Some were drawn directly from work and study: the snake-like intertwining of embroidered hemoglobin; the glass and polyvinyl installation that resembled blood platelets draped over an IV line and bag; a photograph of vegetables and fruits assembled as an exposed ribcage and heart.
