{"id":109264,"date":"2022-12-01T13:43:14","date_gmt":"2022-12-01T18:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/busm\/?p=109264"},"modified":"2022-12-01T13:43:14","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T18:43:14","slug":"public-safety-update-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2022\/12\/01\/public-safety-update-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Safety Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>As the holidays approach and colder weather arrives, you will see an increased presence of public safety officers doing walk-rounds on campus to deter non-affiliates from accessing our buildings.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><span>Personal safety and security is a shared responsibility.<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Please wear your BU ID at all times when on campus.<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><b><span>IDs for all employees and students entering buildings will be required beginning<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>Dec. 17, 2022<\/b><\/span><b><span>. If you do not display your ID, you will need to call a BU person to come down to escort you into the building. Visitors will need to sign in.<\/span><\/b><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxmsonormal\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><span>Please<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>do<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>not<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>allow others to piggyback through<span class=\"xxapple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>card-accessed doors.
