The event was organized by the Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine South Asian Medical Students Association (SAMSA), which is led by Anvitha Sathya, Jeet Kothari, Sanil Gandhi and Rohith Kariveda.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/camed\/files\/2022\/11\/Diwali-2022-1-e1667838572682.jpeg\" alt=\"Dancers performing\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-108679\" width=\"250\" height=\"148\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/camed\/files\/2022\/11\/Diwali-2022-3-e1667838835436.jpeg\" alt=\"Diwali dancers\" class=\"size-full wp-image-108681 alignright\" width=\"250\" height=\"149\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The evening event was filled with cultural arts and crafts, food, music and dancing. Hiebert Lounge was decorated with deepa (lamps) and rangoli (arrangements of colored powder). This year the event included three dance performances, a semi classical fusion piece by Prasida Unni, Yamini Adusumelli, Saaz Mantri, Laxmi Behara and Tina Bastin, a solo piece by Himani Sood and a Bollywood piece by Geethika Bodanapu, Anika Walia and Kiran Maypole.
