Chai, MD, Professor and Chair of Department of Urology, will receive the Distinguished Service Award from the American Urological Association (AUA) for his exemplary contributions to the science of urology and advocacy for urological research. \u00a0He served as Chair of the AUA Research Advocacy Committee over the past three years and led initiatives that successfully championed for urologic research support from public, private, and philanthropic sources.<\/p>\n<p>Chai, who also serves as chief of urology at Boston Medical Center, will be recognized at the Association&#8217;s annual meeting in New Orleans in May 2022 marking the 59<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the awards program.<\/p>\n<p>Chai has been recognized for his significant contributions in urology including receiving the AUA\u2019s 2013 Victor A. Politano Award for outstanding work in treatment of urinary incontinence and innovations in bladder research.
