For new users please follow the steps outlined in<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/research\/cores\/accessing-cores\/information-for-new-users\/\">Information for New Users<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Usage and Training<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Training is mandatory for all new users and requires:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scheduling of two consecutive 1-hour sessions of \u201cAssisted Use\u201d for practical in-person training.<\/li>\n<li>Users are expected to bring their own slides for scanning during the training session.<\/li>\n<li>A combination of both brightfield and fluorescent slides is recommended to familiarize users with developing scan profiles for each of these formats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact us to schedule training or assisted use. Once users have been trained, time on the instruments may be scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>We require that all users cancel sessions 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
