Keefer, M.D. Society was established as a means of recognizing the dedication and loyal support of individuals who have provided major assistance to Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. The society is named in honor of Dr. Chester S. Keefer, whose foresight and determination in roles as chairman of the Department of Medicine, dean of Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, and director of the Medical Center were responsible for laying the foundation for Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.<\/p>\n
