Among them are the White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, Commencement and Awards Ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/student-affairs\/md\/orientations-events-programs\/milestone-student-events\/medconvocation\/\"><em>Information for the upcoming Class of 2026 MD &amp; PhD Convocation Ceremony<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Match Day 2026<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The 2026 Match Day Ceremony was held at the George Sherman Union on Friday, March 20.\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/news-events\/articles\/2026\/md-class-of-2026-match-into-residency-training-programs\/\">BUMC Article<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbur.org\/news\/2026\/03\/20\/boston-match-day-med-students\">WBUR Article<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/student-affairs\/md\/orientations-events-programs\/milestone-student-events\/medconvocation\/\"><em><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Class of 2029 White Coat Ceremony<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/news-events\/articles\/2025\/school-of-medicine-welcomes-md-class-of-2029-in-traditional-white-coat-ceremony\/\">White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2029<\/a>\u00a0was held on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, on the Talbot Green on Boston University&#8217;s Medical Campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Graduation 2025<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span>The BU Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/articles\/2025\/chobanian-avedisian-school-of-medicine-convocations\/\">2025 MD &amp; PhD Convocation Ceremony<\/a> took place on\u00a0<\/span><strong>Thursday, May 15, 2025 <\/strong>at the\u00a0Track &amp; Tennis Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Match Day 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/articles\/2025\/match-day-medical-students\/\">2025 Match Day Ceremony<\/a> was held at the George Sherman Union on Friday, March 15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Class of 2028 White Coat Ceremony<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2024\/08\/05\/annual-white-coat-ceremony-welcomes-141-students-to-the-profession-of-medicine\/\">White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2028<\/a> was held on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, on the Talbot Green on Boston University&#8217;s Medical Campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Match Day 2024<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2024\/03\/15\/the-envelope-please-md-students-match-to-their-future\/\">2024 Match Day Ceremony<\/a> was held at the George Sherman Union on Friday, March 15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Graduation 20<\/strong><strong>24<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2024\/05\/17\/md-phd-graduates-urged-to-become-change-makers\/\">MD &amp; PhD Convocation Ceremony<\/a> took place on Thursday, May 16, 3 p.m., at the BU Track and Tennis Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>2023 Commemorations<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2023\/08\/01\/white-coat-day-marks-entrance-to-medical-profession-for-146-first-year-medical-students\/\">White Coat Ceremony<\/a> for the Class of 2027 was held on Aug. 1, 2023.<\/li>\n<li>A Match Day Ceremony for MD students participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/2023\/03\/17\/medical-students-find-their-future-in-a-match-day-envelope\/\">2023 Match<\/a> was held at the George Sherman Union on Friday, March 17.<\/li>\n<li>The Graduating Students Awards Ceremony was held on May 15, 2023, from 12-2 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>The MD &amp; PhD <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/articles\/2023\/chobanian-avedisian-school-of-medicine-grads-urged-to-find-purpose\/#:~:text=The%20school%20of%20medicine%20Class,PhD%20convocation%20ceremony%20May%2018.\">Convocation Ceremony<\/a> took place on Thursday, May 18, 3 p.m., at the BU Track and Tennis Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Student Affairs Office (SAO) organizes many of the milestone events unique to medical students.
