Fond memory of BUSM:<\/strong> I remember my interview with John O’Connor. He said his daughter was applying to college. He asked my views on the pros and cons of small schools versus large schools. After a wide-ranging discussion about nothing to do with medical school, that I thought was a warm-up\u00a0to the real interview, he stood up and shook my hand, indicating that the interview was over.<\/span><\/p>\n

Favorite professor at BUSM:\u00a0<\/strong>William McNary. Medical school was not always smooth sailing. However, we knew we always had at least one advocate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recent accomplishment:<\/strong> Appointed Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at both the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and the USC Keck School of Medicine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hobbies outside of work:<\/strong> Reading. Biking. Visiting my grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Academic appointment:\u00a0<\/strong>Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at both the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and the USC Keck School of Medicine.<\/span><\/p>\n
