{"id":52237,"date":"2017-11-14T10:21:24","date_gmt":"2017-11-14T15:21:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/?page_id=52237"},"modified":"2025-04-08T12:46:34","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T16:46:34","slug":"lso-announcements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/camed\/research-impact\/find-funding\/lso-announcements\/","title":{"rendered":"NIH Biomedical Research Support Shared Instrumentation Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">NIH-High-End Instrumentation (HEI) Grant Program \u2502 March 31<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><a name=\"hei\"><\/a> The <a href=\"https:\/\/grants.nih.gov\/grants\/guide\/pa-files\/PAR-24-264.html\">High-End Instrumentation (HEI) Grant <\/a>program encourages applications from groups of NIH-supported investigators to purchase or upgrade a single item of high-end, specialized, commercially available instruments or integrated systems.\u00a0 Instruments supported include, but are not limited to, X-ray diffractometers, high throughput robotic screening systems, mass spectrometers, nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, DNA and protein sequencers, biosensors, electron and light microscopes, flow cytometers, and biomedical imagers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FUNDING INFORMATION: <\/strong>The minimum award is $750,001. There is no maximum price limit for the instrument; however, the maximum award is $2M.<\/p>\n<p>The Associate Dean of Research office, will facilitate an internal pre-submission process to foster collaborative proposals and increase the success rate for the University.
